Embracing a Fresh Start as a Habitat Homeowner
Kisha began researching the housing market, only to discover that inflation and escalating mortgage rates had put an "affordable" home entirely out of reach. She contacted the Cherokee Tribe, of which she is a member, who referred her to Green Country Habitat as a good avenue for down payment assistance and a high-quality home at a rate she could afford.
