Green Country Habitat for Humanity and Tulsa Public Schools are excited to partner for an innovative new program, "Education Begins with HOME."
Through this $5 million down payment assistance fund, qualifying teachers will receive up to $50,000 in down payment assistance to purchase a home through Habitat’s homebuyer program. The program ensures long-term stability for educators while supporting the district's efforts to attract and retain teaching talent.

Down payment assistance is forgiven after 5 years of successful mortgage payments & continuous employment with Tulsa Public Schools

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for Green Country Habitat for Humanity’s homebuyer program, applicants must:
Be willing to partner with Green Country Habitat for Humanity.
Complete Financial Literacy Training to prepare for successful homeownership.
Contribute 30 Habitat Service Hours through volunteer work.
Have a credit score of 600 or higher.
Be a legal U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Start the Process to Apply
FIRST STEP: Sign up and attend a 30-minute Habitat Orientation Meeting (Kids are welcome to attend).
After you attend an orientation meeting, you can complete an application for the program.
