Green Country Habitat for Humanity and Tulsa Public Schools are excited to partner together for an innovative new program "Education Begins with Home."
Through this $5 million down payment assistance fund, qualifying teachers will receive up to $50,000 in down payment assistance to purchase a home through Habitat’s homebuyer program. The program ensures long-term stability for educators while supporting the district's efforts to attract and retain teaching talent.

Secure a below market, 30-year, fixed rate mortgage through our network of partner banks

Eligibility Requirements
Willing to partner with Green Country Habitat for Humanity to complete required financial literacy training and 30 “sweat equity” service hours.
A credit score of 600 or higher.
Legal U.S. Citizen or a permanent resident.
Start the Application
Schedule an Intro to Habitat Orientation Meeting (Kids are welcome to attend.)
Attend a Habitat Orientation Meeting.
After the orientation meeting, you can complete the application.
Once accepted into the program, you will be asked to submit the required documents for a credit inquiry.

• Prior 2 Years Taxes & W2's
• 2 Months of Bank Statements
Approved applicants will be asked to complete the required education courses to advance the homebuyer’s process.
