Empowering Teachers Through Homeownership

Education Begins With Home

Green Country Habitat for Humanity and Tulsa Public Schools are excited to partner for an innovative program, “Education Begins with HOME.”‍ ‍

Qualifying teachers will receive forgivable down payment assistance* to purchase a home through Habitat’s homebuyer program. The program ensures long-term stability for educators while supporting the district’s efforts to attract and retain teaching talent.

Teachers’ access to safe, affordable homes creates a ripple effect of positive change—improving education outcomes, fostering community growth, and empowering families for generations.

*Downpayment assistance determined for qualified applicants. Additional down payment assistance may be offered subject to availability. Some restrictions apply.
