Eligibility Requirements

  • Legal U.S. Citizen or a permanent resident.

  • Willing to partner with Green Country Habitat for Humanity and complete Educational Equity Hours.

  • A credit score of 600 or higher.

  • Have not owned a home in the last 3 years.

Please make sure your household meets the requirements before applying. If you do not yet meet the requirements, our HUD-certified counselors can help you create a plan to work toward them.

Downpayment assistance determined for qualified applicants. Additional downpayment assistance may be offered subject to availability. Some restrictions apply.

Start the Application

  1. Schedule an Intro to Habitat Orientation Meeting (Kids are welcome!)

  2. Attend the Habitat Orientation Meeting

  3. Complete the Application

  4. Once accepted into the program, submit required documents for a Credit Review.

    • Current Paystubs (30 days)

    • Prior 2 Years Taxes & W2's

    • 2 Months of Bank Statements

  5. If approved, complete the required Homebuyer Education Courses
