About Green Country Habitat for Humanity
Building Communities, Changing Lives
Since 1988, Green Country Habitat for Humanity has been dedicated to helping families in the Tulsa, Oklahoma, area achieve the dream of homeownership. Through generous home sponsorships, individual donations, and volunteer hours, we build safe, high-quality homes and offer affordable, low-interest mortgages to families who may not qualify for traditional financing.
Our commitment goes beyond just building homes. We partner closely with future homeowners to ensure that housing costs remain manageable, reducing financial burden. As part of our homebuyer program, we offer participants educational courses on homeownership that reinforce the values of community involvement and responsible homeownership.
Together, we are creating a stronger, more vibrant community—one home at a time.
Everyone Deserves a Safe, Affordable Place to Live
At Green Country Habitat for Humanity, we welcome volunteers, donors, and supporters from all backgrounds to join us in our mission. We serve families in need of housing without discrimination based on race, religion, ethnicity, gender, or any other differences.
As part of Habitat for Humanity International, we do not require individuals to adhere to or convert to any faith as a condition for participating in our programs.
Where We Build
Since 2020, we have worked with our sister company, Boomtown Development Company, on two townhome developments: The Whittier Townhomes and Black Wall Street Square. We also completed our first East Tulsa development, Buena Vida.
The construction methods and partnerships established through these projects demonstrate scalable, effective approaches to revitalizing neighborhoods across our city. Green Country Habitat is actively exploring future opportunities and remains committed to expanding affordable housing throughout Northeastern Oklahoma.
Our Mission Statement
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
