Four Months to Forever

Welcome home, Brittany—a lifelong Tulsan, medical assistant, and proud mom of two who is officially a first-time homeowner!

With one child in middle school and another in elementary, Brittany wanted to give her family more stability. Encouraged by friends and family, some of whom are also Habitat homeowners, she applied to the program and completed the process in just four months.

“The classes were really helpful, especially the money management lessons,” she said. Her advice for future homeowners: “Get your credit right, get your money right.”

Brittany is most excited about her spacious living room and kitchen. She says she can’t wait to start cooking for her family with the first meal being chicken alfredo, one of her favorites.
