Program Requirements
- Earn 30%-80% of area median income (AMI) as defined by HUD
- Be a first time homebuyer as defined by HUD
- Have 12 months of steady income
- Be a legal US citizen or a permanent resident
- Be willing to complete sweat equity hours
- Need better housing
- Have an acceptable 3-year credit history
- Be able to provide 1% cash down payment
- Be willing to partner with Tulsa Habitat and meet all pre and post-purchase program requirements
The Process
- Eligible applicants will meet with our homeowner counselors to discuss the program and its requirements.
- Approved applicants will enter into a partnership with Tulsa Habitat and begin completing sweat equity hours and taking homeownership courses.

If you have questions about Tulsa Habitat for Humanity's homeownership program, then our informational session is for you. Come and learn about where Tulsa Habitat is building, what the program is like, and how you can apply.
While it is not mandatory, we do recommend that you read our homeownership requirements and our list of required documents before attending. All of our orientation meetings are held at the Tulsa Habitat for Humanity office at 6235 E. 13th St., Tulsa, OK 74112.
