A Place of Stability: Cristina’s Journey Home

While balancing a full-time job at the Juvenile Bureau and navigating some tough life transitions, Cristina officially became a Habitat homeowner!

With determination and a strong support system, she completed the program in a year and a half. Cristina is most excited to build new routines in a safe, stable home where her daughter can thrive. She dreams of hanging a swing in the front tree and watching her little one play freely and safely.

“This house is central to all our needs,” she says. Her advice for others?

“It doesn’t matter if you are on the lower income side—this program makes it possible to be a homeowner.”
